Job summary

Sysco is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the ammonia refrigeration, HVAC, fire protection, and warehouse equipment at the RDC. You will supervise up to twenty colleagues and coordinate with external contractors to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient operations.

The role requires leadership, strong planning skills, and a focus on food-safety standards. Prior ammonia refrigeration and supervisory experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience leading maintenance and sanitation teams in large facilities.
• Strong knowledge of ammonia refrigeration systems and facility equipment.
• Familiar with safety, OSHA, HACCP, and food safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction and leadership for maintenance and sanitation colleagues.
• Plan and manage daily staffing to align labor with operations.
• Coordinate with outside contractors and internal departments.
• Develop procedures for preventative and corrective maintenance.
• Monitor safety programs and enforce lockout/tagout procedures.
• Assist in personnel recruitment and performance evaluations.
