Job summary

Sysco Redistribution Center in Houston is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee ammonia refrigeration, HVAC, and facility systems. You will lead a team of up to twenty maintenance and sanitation colleagues, coordinate with external contractors, and ensure safe, compliant operations across the facility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred or five years maintenance experience.
• AMMONIA refrigeration knowledge and electrical basics required; relevant certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement preventative, corrective, and emergency maintenance plans for ammonia refrigeration, HVAC, fire protection, and warehouse systems.
• Monitor maintenance logs, checklists, and equipment condition to ensure safe, compliant operations.
• Schedule and supervise outside contractors and coordinate with other departments.
• Manage budgets, staffing, and resource allocation for maintenance activities.
• Coach and lead up to twenty maintenance and sanitation colleagues; conduct evaluations.
• Ensure safety policies, lockout/tagout procedures, and training requirements are followed.
