Job summary

Sysco Redistribution Center Facilities seeks a capable Maintenance Supervisor to oversee ammonia refrigeration, HVAC, and related systems, ensuring safe, efficient operation. You will lead maintenance staff and coordinate with contractors to uphold sanitation, safety, and regulatory compliance.

The role requires supervisory experience in facilities maintenance, strong communication, and the ability to manage preventive and corrective work within budgetary constraints.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills between colleagues, peers, and RDC management.
• Must have ability to plan and organize work and time, analyze, and disseminate numerical data, follow policies and procedures, possess basic math skills, and identify and solve problems.
• Must pass a functional capacity test.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement procedures for preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance for ammonia refrigeration systems, HVAC systems, fire protection, material handling equipment, storage racking, dock, and warehouse equipment.
• Monitor preventive maintenance logs and check lists as required/scheduled.
• Schedule and monitor work of outside contractors as needed.
• Requisition tools, equipment, and supplies.
• Inspect completed work for conformance to blueprints, specifications, and standards.
