Job summary

Sysco Northeast RDC in Jacksonville, FL, is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee technicians and contractors in ammonia refrigeration, HVAC, fire protection, and warehouse equipment. You will ensure safe, efficient operations and food-safety compliance while guiding sanitation and facilities colleagues.

The role emphasizes leadership, scheduling, budget awareness, and collaboration across departments to meet production needs and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills between colleagues, peers, and RDC management.
• Must have ability to plan and organize work and time, analyze, and disseminate numerical data, follow policies and procedures, possess basic math skills, and identify and solve problems. Must have basic computer knowledge.
• Must pass a functional capacity test.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement procedures for preventative, corrective, and emergency maintenance for ammonia refrigeration systems, HVAC systems, fire protection, material handling equipment, storage racking, dock, and warehouse equipment.
• Monitor preventive maintenance logs and check lists as required/scheduled.
• Schedule and monitor work of outside contractors as needed.
• Requisition tools, equipment, and supplies.
• Inspect completed work for conformance to blueprints, specifications, and standards.
• Maintain ePSM to ensure PSM tasks are scheduled and completed in a timely manner to avoid elapsed tasks.
• Maintain maintenance software to ensure work orders are assigned and completed in a timely manner.
