Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to manage work orders, perform preventive maintenance, and supervise make-ready tasks for vacant units. You will work on-site across community grounds, exteriors, and interior spaces to uphold Greystar quality and safety standards.

You will inspect team and contractor work, manage tools and inventory, and assist with budget planning for repairs and capital projects. HVAC certification and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• Customer service and interpersonal communication skills are essential.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively for reporting and records.
• Mathematical skills are required to review financial, administrative, and legal documents.
• Proficiency with internet, word processing, spreadsheets, and database management programs.

Responsibilities

• Assists and completes work orders from residents and performs routine maintenance per policies and safety standards.
• Oversees make-ready process for vacant units, schedules vendors, and inspects completed work.
• Maintains grounds, amenities, exteriors, and common areas to meet Greystar quality standards.
• Inspects work by team members and contractors to ensure quality and compliance.
• Maintains inventory of parts and tools; assists in budgeting for repairs and capital projects.
