Job summary

Greystar seeks a Maintenance Technician to oversee and perform technical and mechanical work ensuring the community meets Greystar standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality. You will handle work orders, make-ready processes for vacant units, and perform routine preventative maintenance across buildings, grounds, and amenities.

The role requires high school diploma or equivalent, experience in property management maintenance or related trades, and EPA Type I/II or Universal

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or related experience.
• Experience in property management maintenance or related trade.
• Own hand tools and safe use of hand/power tools.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate with residents and team.
• Strong math, problem-solving and adherence to safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests and diagnose defects to complete repairs.
• Lead make-ready process for vacant units including inspections and scheduling.
• Set standards for cleanliness and appearance of grounds, exteriors, and common areas.
• Inspect work by other technicians and contractors to ensure quality.
• Maintain inventory of parts and tools and assist in budget planning.
