Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics in Port Reading, USA, is seeking a Facility Specialist, Maintenance to ensure the facility and equipment operate safely and efficiently. You will perform maintenance and simple repairs across plumbing, carpentry, painting, mechanical, electrical, and custodial tasks, with the flexibility to assist other departments.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, at least one year of facilities maintenance experience, and forklift certification.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Must have at least one year of general facilities, systems maintenance, and repair work experience.
• Must be able to work in unregulated temperatures within the warehouse during warmer and colder months.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the building and equipment; perform general maintenance and simple repairs (plumbing, carpentry, painting, mechanical, electrical, custodial).
• Perform preventative maintenance and inspections on building and equipment systems.
• Ensure daily operation of building and material handling equipment and report problems.
• Identify safety hazards and maintain a safe work site during repairs or maintenance.
