Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics in Fort Worth, TX, is seeking a Facilities Specialist, Maintenance Technician to ensure safe and efficient building and equipment operation. The role involves plumbing, carpentry, painting, mechanical, electrical, and custodial tasks, with on-call flexibility.

The candidate should have a high school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of facilities maintenance experience, plus forklift certification. Strong troubleshooting and teamwork are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school Diploma or GED.
• 1+ years of general facilities, systems maintenance, and repair work experience and/or other training.
• Must be able to work in unregulated temperatures within the warehouse during the warmer and colder months can range from mild to moderate.
• Satisfactory completion of a forklift training program.
• Basic math.
• Must have basic reading and writing skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot general maintenance and service problems.
• Ability to read and follow manufacturer's instruction manuals.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the condition of the building and equipment.
• Manage employees who perform general maintenance and simple repairs.
• Perform preventative maintenance on building and equipment systems.
• Inspect and repair building systems, equipment and material handling devices.
• Ensure safe work site by identifying and correcting hazards.
• Read and follow instructions; prioritize tasks and communicate findings.
