Job summary

Novolex is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead a large manufacturing team, ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery, and drive continuous improvement across production lines.

The ideal candidate has a BS/BA in Industrial Management or related field, 8+ years in manufacturing with 4+ years supervising teams, lean and statistical methods experience, and strong leadership and communication skills. This role offers comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Industrial Management, Engineering or Business required or equivalent
• 8+ years manufacturing experience with 4+ years in a supervisory role
• Prior injection molding and LEAN experience beneficial
• Proficient in statistics and process improvement techniques
• Strong computer skills including MS Office
• Demonstrated leadership and team-building abilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication across all levels of the organization

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction to assigned department(s)/product lines to meet production goals and safety standards.
• Supervise 125+ employees including salaried, hourly and agency temps.
• Schedule, track, and monitor production and costs to meet goals while ensuring safety and quality.
• Hire, train, coach, and discipline to maintain effective workforce.
• Develop and implement best practices and policies.
• Produce timely reports on key production metrics (efficiency, downtime, costs).
• Communicate feedback up and down the organization.
• Lead safety awareness programs and investigations into safety issues.
• Design and implement continuous improvement processes.
