Job summary

Brookdale is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee community buildings and grounds, ensuring reliable operations and safety compliance across HVAC, elevators and emergency systems. You will lead maintenance, housekeeping and related staff, manage repairs, and coordinate resident work orders in a fast-paced senior living environment.

We value strong supervision and problem-solving skills, with a high school diploma or GED and 2–3 years of experience.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Two to three years related experience and/or training.
Valid State Driver’s License required for vehicle travel.

Responsibilities

Manages the associates responsible for maintenance and repair of the buildings and grounds to maintain proper care of the assigned community in accordance with standards and policies.
Supervises the community maintenance, housekeeping and laundry staff, including hiring, training and evaluating performance.
Directs workers in maintenance and upkeep of interior and exterior areas; inspects work for conformity to standards.
Coordinates maintenance requests by residents and repairs in rooms; handles plumbing, electrical, heating and lighting tasks.
Oversees repairs and maintenance of buildings; maintains common areas and ensures safety compliance.
