The GEO Group, Inc. is seeking a Facility Maintenance Manager to oversee maintenance across multiple facilities, ensuring structural integrity and cost-efficient repairs.

The role supervises maintenance staff and outside vendors, coordinating with project teams to deliver remodeling and preventive maintenance on time and within budget. You will lead safety and efficiency initiatives, monitor BAS operations, and drive cost controls while maintaining high standards of facility reliability and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s preferred.
• Minimum five years in construction, plumbing, electricity, HVAC, mechanical, carpentry, or related work.
• Journeyman certification in one or more trades preferred (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry).
• Demonstrated supervisory experience and ability to read and interpret safety rules, manuals, and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Corporate Project Development and manage construction/remodeling programs to meet deadlines.
• Develop and maintain maintenance budgets; notify management if costs exceed budget.
• Review production schedules and estimate worker hours for timely completion of work orders.
• Direct workers in maintenance tasks across plumbing, carpentry, painting, electrical, and HVAC systems.
• Monitor Building Automation Systems (BAS) and analyze energy usage for cost reductions.
• Schedule and supervise maintenance staff and outside vendors; ensure safety and quality standards.
