Job summary

GEO Secured Services in the United States seeks a Facilities Maintenance Supervisor to oversee cost-efficient maintenance across multiple facilities. You will manage a team and external vendors for plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and general upkeep, ensuring safety and efficiency.

You will monitor BAS systems, interpret safety guidelines, plan projects, and coach staff to meet deadlines while coordinating with corporate teams. This role emphasizes hands-on supervision and reliability.

Qualifications

• Five years in construction, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, or related work.
• Journeyman certification in one or more trades (HVAC, electrical, plumbing or carpentry).
• Demonstrated supervisory experience and safety compliance knowledge.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.
• Proficiency with BAS software and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee cost-efficient maintenance and supervise a team and vendors.
• Plan remodels, manage permits, inspect work against blueprints and standards.
• Manage tools, equipment, supplies, budgets and production records.
• Monitor BAS energy usage and cost optimization.
• Enforce safety regulations and coach workers toward goals.
• Supervise inmates/detainees undergoing maintenance training.
