Job summary

GEO Secured Services is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Manager to lead cost-efficient maintenance across multiple facilities, oversee a team and vendors, and manage remodeling, trade work, and energy optimization.

The role requires strong leadership, safety enforcement, and the ability to coordinate complex projects while meeting deadlines. A supervisory background and BAS experience are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Five years in construction, plumbing, electricity, HVAC, mechanical, carpentry or related work; Journeyman certification preferred.
• Demonstrated supervisory experience.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operate and maintenance manuals; write routine reports.
• Ability to calculate estimates and solve practical problems.
• Experience using BAS computer software.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with corporate and supervisors to manage construction or remodeling projects; plan permits, inspect work to blueprints and standards.
• Manage maintenance tools, equipment, supplies, budgets, time, and production records; oversee working conditions for efficiency.
• Manage production schedules and work procedures to ensure projects meet deadlines.
• Monitor Building Automation Systems (BAS); review, record, analyze and optimize energy usage and costs.
• Interpret company policies for workers and enforce safety regulations.
• Coach workers in achieving work goals.
• Perform maintenance work (temporary or emergency).
• Supervise inmates/detainees receiving maintenance training.
