Job summary

GEO Secured Services is seeking an experienced maintenance supervisor to oversee cost-efficient facility upkeep and a team of staff and vendors for remodeling, repairs, and various trades. You will manage projects from planning through inspection, ensuring safety and compliance.

The role requires supervisory experience, strong reading/communication skills, and BAS proficiency to monitor energy use and costs. A related trade background and journeyman certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required; Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
• Minimum 5 years in construction, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry or related work.
• Journeyman certification in one or more trades is desirable.
• Supervisor experience is required for this role.
• Proficiency with BAS or related building automation software is expected.

Responsibilities

• Oversee cost-efficient maintenance of multiple facilities and supervise a team and vendors for remodeling and repairs.
• Coordinate projects with corporate and supervisors; manage permits, blueprints, specs, and standards.
• Manage budgets, schedules, tools, and records to maximize efficiency and on-time delivery.
• Monitor Building Automation Systems (BAS); analyze energy usage to optimize costs.
• Ensure safety regulations are followed and train workers to meet goals.
• Supervise inmates/detainees in maintenance training and related tasks.
