The Facilities Maintenance Manager will be overseeing and providing maintenance, upkeep, and daily hands-on working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems to support existing business processes for Chart Inc by managing a team of maintenance technicians and leads.

What Will You Do?

• Provide management for facilities activities including plans, budgets and facilities modifications, cost estimates, bid sheets, and contracts for construction and acquisitions.
• Oversee the maintenance and provide daily hands-on working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems to support existing production.
• Perform and assist with the daily preventative maintenance activities, and assure that these tasks are performed correctly.
• Direct maintenance activities. Schedule and coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities of all the production equipment and the facility.
• Review job orders to determine work priorities. Schedule repair, maintenance, and installation of machines, tools and equipment to ensure continuous production operations.
• Requisition tools, equipment and supplies required for operations.
• Establish and update preventative maintenance programs and procedures.
• Supervise Maintenance Technicians in accordance with company policies, safety practices, and applicable laws.
• Responsible for maintaining an appropriate inventory of spare parts.
• Maintain all production equipment to meet organization standards and ensure maximum uptime.
• Assist in developing the annual operating budget and track/report monthly.
• Inspect construction and installation progress for compliance with specifications.
• Review real estate contracts for compliance with government standards and suitability for occupancy.
• Coordinate and contract building services, including security and janitorial.

Basic Qualifications

Education: Associate Degree or specialized training beyond high school.

Experience: 5-8 years of relevant experience.

Education: Four-year University Degree.

Experience: Up to 5 years of relevant experience.
