The Facilities and Maintenance Manager is responsible for maintaining and improving the physical environment of a facility, ensuring its safety, and managing related operations and budgets. This includes overseeing maintenance, repairs, and renovations, as well as managing staff, contractors, and vendors involved in facility services.

Responsibilities:
  1. Maintenance & Repair
  • Perform, optimize, and develop maintenance processes for equipment/facilities to secure cost, output, quality, and OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness).
  • Oversee and coordinate routine maintenance tasks (e.g., cleaning, groundskeeping).
  • Manage repair of equipment and machinery, including HVAC, lighting, and other systems.
  • Supervise contractors for specialized repairs and renovations.
  • Implement Standard Operating Procedures for maintenance.
  • Facilities Management
    • Manage space planning, allocation, and usage.
    • Ensure compliance with building codes, health and safety regulations, and other standards.
    • Manage budgets, contracts, and vendor relationships for facility services.
  • Staff & Operations
    • Supervise and manage facility staff.
    • Develop and implement facility policies and procedures.
  • Safety & Compliance
    • Implement and maintain safety protocols and procedures.
    • Stay current with directives, standards, and legal requirements related to maintenance/facilities.
    • Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and safety policies.
    • Allocate resources for safety training, equipment, and improvements.
    • Conduct regular safety audits and inspections.
    • Foster a safety culture and enforce accountability.
  • Strategic Planning
    • Participate in new investments and process development projects.
    • Develop long-term plans for facility improvements and capital projects.
    • Monitor and evaluate facility performance for improvements.
    • Drive continuous improvements, 6S, visual management, and standard work.
    Qualifications and Skills:
    • Strong technical knowledge of building systems, maintenance, and repairs.
    • Experience managing budgets, contracts, and vendor relationships.
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
    • Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards.
    • At least three years of relevant experience.
