Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• 5-7 years related experience including building and data center electrical work.
• Journeyman or certified in one or more relevant maintenance disciplines (Electrical, HVAC).
• Knowledge of facility engineering principles, OSHA, building and environmental regulations.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Ability to apply continuous improvement methods and techniques.
• Ability to use CAD or environmental monitoring systems.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, assign and supervise the maintenance department.
• Maintain facility equipment and preventative maintenance programs.
• Oversee planning, design, construction, and maintenance of facilities and equipment.
• Coordinate with architecture/engineering firms on design criteria and schedules.
• Ensure building safety and compliance with codes and regulations.
• Assist with budgets for building, grounds, utilities, and cleaning services.
• Mentor new employees and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
