Job summary

Parker Hannifin seeks a full-time Plant Manager to lead Operations at the Erie, PA facility. The role guides a team of about 65 personnel and drives Lean initiatives, cost control, and customer-focused production excellence.

The position reports to the Division Operations Manager and aims to meet daily, monthly, and yearly goals while improving quality, safety, lead times, and profitability through continuous improvement and strategic deployment.

Qualifications

• 4 year university degree (or international equivalent) in technical or business.
• Minimum of 5 years leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in business and operational processes preferred.

Responsibilities

• Profitably grow the Plant and achieve goals measured weekly, monthly, quarterly and annually.
• Leads strategy deployment for the Plant initiatives and growth.
• Collaborates with Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, Safety, Lean, Quality Engineering, Maintenance, Information Technology, and Production Control and Planning.
• Drive Lean initiatives to ensure adoption.
• Ensure inventory management, production control scheduling, shipping/receiving logistics and quality procedures.
• Foster a positive can-do team atmosphere with regular team meetings and PDCA tracking.
