Job summary

Parker Hannifin is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Manager to lead a team of manufacturing engineers across one site or multiple lines. You will oversee design implementation, process improvements, and capital project oversight to meet safety, quality, and efficiency goals.

The role emphasizes mentoring staff, coordinating with Product Engineering, Program Design, and Supply Chain, and driving optimization of manufacturing systems and budgeting within the facility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in related Engineering field; 5+ years experience.
• 1–3 years of leadership experience preferred.
• Advanced technical knowledge for new product development and complex problems.
• Strong project management to improve efficiencies in team/plant.
• Support development of strategic plans with management.
• Ensure team/plant executes manufacturing processes safely and consistently.
• Analyze process flows for quality, cost, and throughput improvements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee planning and implementation of manufacturing processes, equipment, and tooling.
• Develop and manage project plans, timelines, budgets with cross-functional teams.
• Lead process improvement initiatives and implement tech changes.
• Mentor and develop team members; provide performance feedback.
• Optimize utilization of manufacturing systems and metrics; support upgrades.
• Lead capital budgeting and resource allocation within the team.
• Collaborate with suppliers and internal customers to meet specs and timelines.
