Job summary

Bozzuto seeks an Assistant Building Maintenance Manager in Maryland to lead maintenance teams, fix HVAC, plumbing, electrical issues and oversee turnover for new residents. The role emphasizes safety, code compliance, and delivering exceptional resident experiences.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in trades or facilities, relevant HVAC/EPA/NAPE certifications, and strong communication and leadership skills. This is a part-time on-site position with on-call duties and opportunities for bonus.

Qualifications

• HVAC, EPA and/or NAPE certification is required.
• Experience in maintenance of residential buildings or trades is essential.
• Strong leadership and communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example in standards and culture of Bozzuto.
• Provide timely follow-ups on resident service tickets.
• Resolve HVAC, electrical, plumbing and appliance issues.
• Oversee make-ready and turnover to enable leasing and move-ins.
• Perform preventative maintenance to preserve building value.
• Maintain building grounds and safety, including snow removal.
• Ensure compliance with codes and safety standards.
• Participate in weekend work and on-call rotation.
