Job summary

Bozzuto is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead a team in maintaining apartment communities with a focus on safety, quality, and resident satisfaction.

The role requires 7+ years in facilities and/or residential building maintenance, plus 3+ years of supervisory experience and relevant HVAC/EPA/NAPE certifications. You will manage repairs, preventative maintenance, vendor relationships and 24/7 on-call coverage to keep buildings operating smoothly.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in facilities and/or residential building maintenance.
• 3+ years of supervisory experience and a track record of hiring, developing and retaining high performing teams.
• HVAC, EPA and/or NAPE certification.
• Knowledge of risk management, OSHA and MSDS.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example and model the Bozzuto values and culture in daily operations.
• Hire, develop and provide on-the-job and classroom education opportunities to techs and community care associates.
• Address resident needs with timely follow up and meticulous completion of service tickets.
• Resolve maintenance issues in HVAC, electrical, plumbing and appliance repair.
• Manage make-ready and apartment turnover to ensure timely leasing and move-ins.
• Implement preventive maintenance programs to preserve building value.
• Oversee grounds, safety and general upkeep to maintain a clean and safe community.
• Lead cost-effective capital improvements and special projects within budget.
• Establish and manage vendor relationships and contracts, with 24/7 on-call coverage.
