Job summary

Hims & Hers is hiring an Area Manager, Maintenance Facilities to lead the maintenance team in the Mesa, AZ warehouse. You will apply predictive and preventive maintenance on critical equipment including HVAC, compressors, and forklifts, and work with engineers and operations to minimize downtime.

You will oversee safety, record keeping, and cross-functional improvement initiatives while ensuring reliable facility operations and cost-effective maintenance strategies.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in maintenance, facilities, or field with related skills.
• 3+ years of formal leadership experience with direct reports.
• Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds.
• Proficient with MS Word, Excel, and Project Management.
• Troubleshoot machinery without supervision.
• Document maintenance charts and data for process improvement.
• English communication skills; Spanish helpful.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance technicians to perform corrective, preventive, and planned maintenance on production equipment (HVAC, conveyors, racking, forklifts).
• Oversee building maintenance, repairs, and safety compliance across the warehouse.
• Maintain 5S, safety standards, and proper PPE usage; manage data entry and record keeping.
• Coordinate repairs with production teams to minimize downtime.
• Identify opportunities for process optimization and cost savings.
• Participate in cross-functional improvement projects.
