Job summary

Hims & Hers is seeking an Area Manager, Maintenance Facilities to lead a team of technicians in maintaining critical warehouse equipment, HVAC, and building systems. The role emphasizes preventive maintenance, safety, and collaboration with production to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in maintenance, facilities, or related field.
• 3+ years of formal leadership experience with direct reports.
• Ability to safely lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Proficient with Word, Excel, and Project Management tools.
• Ability to troubleshoot machinery without supervision.
• Document predictive/preventive maintenance charts and data for process improvement.
• English communication skills; bilingual in Spanish preferred.
• Ability to bend, kneel, climb ladders; heights; use lifts.
• Collaborative mindset and teamwork.
• Experience with PLC and CMMS systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance technicians in equipment maintenance (HVAC, conveyors, forklifts, etc.).
• Oversee building maintenance and basic repairs to ensure uptime.
• Maintain safety, 5S practices, and hazard controls in the warehouse.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance strategies.
• Record-keeping for work orders and maintenance data.
• Coordinate repairs with production to minimize downtime.
• Identify cost-saving maintenance opportunities and process improvements.
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices.
