Job summary

hims & hers is seeking an Area Manager, Maintenance Facilities to lead a maintenance group in our warehouse. You will apply predictive and preventive maintenance to critical production equipment, manage safety, and coordinate repairs with production to minimize downtime.

Strong leadership, PLC/CMMS familiarity, and hands-on troubleshooting are required. Responsibilities include equipment and building maintenance, record keeping, process optimization, and collaboration with cross-functional

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in maintenance, facilities, or field with related skills.
• 3+ years of formal leadership experience with direct reports.
• Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds.
• Proficient with Word, Excel, and project management tools.
• Troubleshoot machinery without supervision.
• Document predictive/preventive maintenance charts and data.
• Strong English communication; Spanish preferred.
• Ability to work at heights and climb stairs.
• Experience with PLC systems and CMMS systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead a group of maintenance technicians to perform preventive, corrective, and planned maintenance on warehouse equipment and building systems.
• Perform facility maintenance including painting, repairs, and minor tenant improvements.
• Ensure safety, 5S adherence, and proper hazard handling; follow lock-out/tag-out procedures.
• Maintain records with software like Maintenance Connection and update safety data sheets.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, and air compression issues.
• Coordinate repairs with production to minimize disruption and downtime.
• Identify opportunities for process optimization and cost savings.
• Contribute to cross-functional improvement projects and ongoing operations.
