Job summary

Meraki in Portland, OR is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Lead to own preventative maintenance, repairs, and improvement projects at our indoor cultivation facility. The role is hands-on and not desk-based; you will diagnose issues, perform repairs, and lead projects with contractors as needed.

You will structure your own day, manage schedules, track equipment performance, and support harvest operations several days monthly.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining industrial or commercial facilities.
• Ability to create and follow a preventive-maintenance schedule.
• Strong diagnostic and repair skills for HVAC, pumps, lighting and controls.
• Comfortable handling inventory and coordinating with contractors.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain a preventive-maintenance schedule.
• Perform inspections and performance checks on facility equipment.
• Diagnose equipment operating but not performing correctly.
• Repair or replace lights, fans, pumps and other equipment.
• Monitor dehumidification equipment performance.
• Plan and manage large projects from planning through completion.
• Support harvest operations 3–5 days per month.
• Order parts and coordinate vendors as needed.
• Maintain records and spare-parts inventory.
• Work with HVAC contractors, electricians and engineers.
