Job summary

New Energy Works seeks a Maintenance & Facilities Technician to maintain campus and facilities in McMinnville, OR, on-site. You will oversee outside vendors and coordinate preventative and active maintenance of milling equipment, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and safety compliance.

The role requires managing Fiix work orders, training staff, and ensuring fleet readiness while supporting safety programs. Flexible schedule and ESOP benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining and repairing industrial equipment.
• Ability to manage external vendors and contractors.
• Proficient with maintenance work order systems.
• Strong safety and regulatory compliance awareness.

Responsibilities

• Maintain equipment records and preventative maintenance schedules.
• Analyze failures and determine internal or vendor actions.
• Manage outside vendors to limit downtime.
• Train facilities personnel and lead larger jobs.
• Ensure fleet and vehicles meet USDOT requirements.
• Provide guidance for operator maintenance.
• Travel as assigned.
• Special projects as assigned.
