Job summary

Fanatics in Tigard, OR is seeking a Lead Maintenance Technician to act as the working technical lead for the maintenance team on shift, combining hands-on maintenance with team coordination and shift-level oversight.

The role requires modeling best practices in safety, workmanship, and documentation while driving accountability and productivity, coordinating with the Facilities Manager to ensure preventive and corrective maintenance is executed on time and to standard.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years of progressive maintenance experience in a warehouse, fulfillment, or industrial environment.
• 1–2 years in a lead, senior, or training capacity.
• OSHA 30 certification required (or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire).
• Experience with CMMS platforms and KPI reporting (PM completion rate, MTTR, equipment availability).
• Strong leadership, coaching, and interpersonal skills; ability to hold team members accountable.
• Ability to read and interpret complex schematics, P&IDs, and OEM documentation.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work at heights, and operate in varying temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Lead shift; assign, prioritize, and delegate work orders and PM tasks.
• Provide real-time technical guidance and escalation for maintenance issues.
• Review completed work orders for accuracy, parts usage, and compliance.
• Coordinate maintenance activities with operations to minimize downtime and meet SLAs.
• Assist in spare parts inventory management and cycle counts.
• Support RCA and corrective action plans for repeat failures.
• Lead equipment commissioning and capital project support.
