Job summary

The Maintenance Supervisor at Asset Living in California oversees maintenance operations across the community, supervises staff and vendors, and ensures timely service requests and safety standards are met.

You will collaborate with the Community Manager, implement preventative maintenance, coordinate on-call emergencies, manage inventory and repairs, and uphold OSHA and Fair Housing requirements while delivering excellent resident service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• EPA & CPO certification required; HVAC knowledge is preferred.
• Basic computer skills and on-site software familiarity are expected.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements is essential.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance Management including service requests and preventive maintenance.
• Coordinate, schedule, and respond to resident and management work orders.
• Inspect grounds, buildings, and other community features daily for hazards.
• Manage supplies inventory and adhere to budget guidelines.
• Participate in on-call emergency responses at the community.
• Supervise maintenance staff and provide coaching and direction.
• Promote safe work practices and OSHA compliance.
