Job summary

SP+ Corporation is hiring for a maintenance and customer-facing role at our Jersey City facility. The position involves cleaning, repairs, and basic repairs with supervision to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for customers and staff.

Strong communication and reliability are essential as is the ability to work varied shifts including weekends. Qualifications include a High School Diploma and a valid driver’s license if driving company vehicles.

Qualifications

• Education/Experience: High School Diploma or combination of experience and education.
• License Requirement: Valid state-issued driver’s license if driving company vehicle.
• Availability to Work: 3rd shift and/or weekends may be required.
• Oral Communication: Speaks clearly; listens and asks questions.
• Written Communication: Writes clearly and reads information.
• Customer Service: Positive attitude; responds to service requests.
• Adaptability: Handles changes and unexpected events.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and cleaning tasks per checklists and supervision to keep the facility clean and safe.
• Walk garage daily to identify maintenance issues and address them.
• Assist customers inside the facility and handle complaints with supervisor support.
• Cover cashier or attendant duties as needed.
• Maintain neat appearance and complete uniform during shifts.
• Submit repair or maintenance requests and report safety hazards.
• Operate basic cleaning and outdoor equipment as applicable.
• Report any policy violations and safety concerns promptly.
