Job summary

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent plus relevant experience, with potential CDL constraints and a 50 lb lifting ability. It is based on Rutherford Lane Campus with standard hours and possible on-call work.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 4 years relevant work experience.
• Experience may substitute for education up to 4 years.
• Knowledge of facility maintenance and safety practices.
• Familiarity with fiscal planning and budget preparation.

Responsibilities

• Plans and performs basic building repairs and participates in construction/installation activities on assigned projects.
• Coordinates with contractors, vendors, and other divisions providing maintenance, repairs, and moves to assigned buildings.
• Calculates figures and compiles data for reports and cost estimates.
• Prepares and maintains status reports on projects.
• Monitors lease agreements and various maintenance/installation contracts.
• Researches information as requested and answers questions from internal and external customers.
