Job summary

East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania is seeking a Facilities Mailroom and Warehouse Student Worker to support the facilities management mailroom and the receiving & distribution center on campus.

Responsibilities include warehouse tasks such as receiving, storing, and documenting goods, as well as mailroom duties like delivering mail, assisting with large mailings, sorting mail, and helping redirect mail for students who move. Must be an ESU student and capable of lifting up to 40 lbs.

Qualifications

• Current ESU student
• Ability to lift, pull, and push up to 40lbs
• Basic computer skills
• Experience in customer service
• Ability to perform clerical tasks efficiently

Responsibilities

• Warehouse duties: receive, unpack, check, and record goods; store items; manage delivery orders; withdraw stock; verify commodity, size, and lot; sign delivery tickets; assist with stock assembly; pack shipments and load goods.
• Mailroom duties: deliver mail to university departments; assist with large mailings; return and sort mail; tab mailings; redirect mail for moved students; pick up packages; act as messenger for campus departments.
