Job summary

Green Country Habitat for Humanity in Tulsa, OK is seeking a Facilities Coordinator to oversee buildings, maintenance, safety, and regulatory compliance, ensuring spaces are clean, secure, and functional for programs and volunteers.

You will lead planning with the Facilities Manager, manage space and equipment needs, supervise staff and volunteers, develop safety rules, and coordinate renovations and grounds work, with a focus on cost-effective operations.

Qualifications

• At least five years of experience in a facility position.
• Ability to lead, train, and manage staff and volunteers in a positive manner.
• Effective time management and organizational skills.
• Computer skills, including word processing, spreadsheets, and email.
• Effective written and oral communication skills.
• Entrepreneurial and creative approach to problem-solving.
• Resilient, versatile, and flexible.
• Well-organized and detail-oriented with excellent analytical skills.
• Must possess a valid Oklahoma driver’s license with a safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Participate in weekly planning meetings with the Facilities Manager.
• Work with and advise leadership on space allocation, equipment and furniture needs and facility maintenance.
• Develop and direct safety and security rules, standards, and regulations for the organization.
• Ensure licenses and required information are maintained for government bodies and compliance with laws.
• Audit department records; ensure vehicle inspections, maintenance, and documentation are kept.
• Ensure regulatory safety, security, and reporting guidelines are followed.
• Maintain properties by addressing maintenance issues, landscaping, and snow removal.
• Manage building systems by contracting and supervising repairs.
• Install and maintain security devices and enforce policies; respond to emergencies.
• Attend meetings and training sessions.
• Other duties as required.
