Job summary

Neighborhood House is seeking a Facilities Supervisor to oversee day-to-day building operations, maintenance, and redevelopment projects across multiple locations in Portland. This hands-on role focuses on safety, compliance, and cost-effective management of our headquarters, apartment complex, and four early learning centers.

• Experience in facilities management and hands-on maintenance
• Strong knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing)
• Experience coordinating vendors and contractors

Responsibilities

• Maintain the facilities operations manual and oversee daily operations of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, life safety)
• Perform inspections to identify maintenance needs and safety issues
• Coordinate repairs and preventive maintenance for both new and existing components
• Oversee office and space management at headquarters and other sites
• Supervise facilities staff and vendor activities; manage renovations and site access
