Qualifications

• Four years progressively responsible experience in the trade(s) with at least one year in a lead or supervisory capacity.
• Comprehensive knowledge of methods and techniques in the assigned trade(s) and OSHA regulations.
• Thorough knowledge of electronics, hydraulics, and mechanics used in maintenance work; basic math for area, volume, weights, and fractions.
• Ability to read, interpret, and work from blueprints, schematics, drawings, and specifications; lead and train staff.
• Must possess and maintain a Class C Driver’s license or equivalent valid in Maryland.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day liaison between occupants of assigned buildings and Facilities Management.
• Process and complete a wide range of multi-trade work orders.
• Oversee maintenance for facilities totaling 200,000+ maintainable gross square feet.
• Lead and train skilled and unskilled employees in assigned trade(s) work.
• Work around fixed machinery and equipment; wear PPE; and operate in hazardous environments.
