Job summary

The University of Maryland, College Park, is seeking a Multi Trades Supervisor II to lead the community maintenance program across residence halls and facilities. You will supervise front-line staff, plan daily work, and implement preventative maintenance with an emphasis on safety and efficiency.

Qualified applicants should have at least seven years in trade experience with four years in leadership, and a high school diploma or GED; familiarity with blueprints and OSHA regulations is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Seven years progressively responsible experience in the trade(s) with at least four years in a lead or supervisory capacity.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations related to the trade area; ability to read blueprints and schematics; comfort with basic math and instrument reading.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and evaluate daily work plans for front-line staff.
• Execute preventative maintenance programs across residential areas.
• Train, supervise, and evaluate staff; assign maintenance tasks and manage performance.
• Supervise 7+ employees and maintain/repair equipment across assigned areas.
