Job summary

Diversified Maintenance is seeking an Area Manager to supervise janitorial staff across assigned sites, ensuring high-quality service within budget. You will drive customer satisfaction by delivering timely, compliant work and managing field operations.

Candidates should have a background in service industry management, strong English communication, and a track record of leadership and coaching. This role is full-time and focused on the Destin area and surrounding accounts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of management experience in a service-related industry, preferably janitorial.
• Business-level English written and spoken communication.
• Ability to multitask and adapt to changing environments.
• Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lead, train, and coach staff and resolve conflicts.

Responsibilities

• Select and place janitorial personnel and oversee performance.
• Communicate company values and people culture to staff.
• Assign duties and inspect work for quality and completeness.
• Manage labor budget and scheduling to stay within limits.
• Conduct new hire orientation and safety training.
• Prepare time sheets, reports, and training records.
• Resolve customer issues and maintain high satisfaction.
• Build relationships with customers through regular site visits.
• Monitor accounts for opportunities and additional work.
• Ensure Quality Control site visits are completed and logged.
