Qualifications

• Two years of management experience in a service-related industry, preferably janitorial.
• Business level oral and written communication skills; ability to speak, read, and write fluently in English.
• Ability to multitask and adapt to changing environments.
• Excellent customer service skills; active listening skills.
• Ability to lead and encourage teamwork; ability to negotiate and resolve conflict.

Responsibilities

• Select and place janitorial personnel; hiring decisions and performance reviews.
• Understand and champion the company’s strategic principles and people culture.
• Assign duties and inspect work for cleanliness and completion; review work quality.
• Manage work procedures and schedules within labor budget.
• Conduct new hire orientation and safety training for hourly staff.
• Prepare and review paperwork such as timesheets, reports and orders.
• Foster open communication and coach employees for success.
• Build relationships with customers through regular site visits.
