Job summary

Fairmont Chicago, Millennium Park is seeking a Housekeeping Facilities & Projects Manager to oversee housekeeping areas, assets, and special projects across the property. You will lead Public Area Attendants, Overnight Cleaners, and Housepersons, ensuring safety, organization, and accountability while coordinating with Engineering and vendors.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of leadership experience in hotel housekeeping.
• Experience supervising public-area, overnight, project-cleaning, or housekeeping teams preferred.
• Working knowledge of housekeeping equipment, preventive maintenance, project cleaning, safety, and asset controls.
• Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, overnights and holidays.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and hotel work-order, purchasing, scheduling or inventory systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee housekeeping facilities and projects to maintain cleanliness and functionality.
• Coordinate maintenance, repairs, and safety to minimize downtime and ensure quality.
• Supervise Public Area Attendants, Overnight Cleaners, and Housepersons with clear checklists.
• Inspect lobbies, restrooms, meeting spaces, and back‑of‑house areas; verify completed work.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Security, Purchasing, and vendors on project scope and timing.
• Track work orders, prioritize issues by guest impact, and report status updates.
