Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Associate's degree or 5 years of relevant experience with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
• Experience in general building maintenance and building trades.

Responsibilities

• Directs and participates with staff in maintenance and operation of buildings and grounds.
• Participates in selecting and developing subordinate staff.
• Develops and manages a preventive maintenance program.
• Inspects buildings and grounds, heating plants and hazard equipment.
• Identifies deficiencies and recommends repairs or replacements.
• Prepares plans, specs and cost estimates for repair projects.
• Prepares budgets and justifications for maintenance operations.
• Directs snow/ice control, landscaping and athletic facility maintenance.
• Prepares reports and attends required meetings.
