Job summary

WNYRIC Districts is seeking a Grounds Crew Chief in a full-time role responsible for the repair and maintenance of facilities and equipment. The position includes supervising a staff of skilled and unskilled workers and applying independent judgment in daily duties.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent and five years in building or service trades, with at least one year in a supervisory capacity; a valid Class 5 NYS driver’s license is required at appointment.

Qualifications

• Graduation from high school or vocational school or possession of a high school equivalency diploma and five (5) years of experience in the building or service trades, one (1) year of which was in a supervisory capacity

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintenance of facilities and equipment.
• Direct supervision over skilled and unskilled staff.
• Respond to work orders and coordinate maintenance activities.
