Job summary

PACS is seeking a Maintenance Worker to uphold grounds, facilities and equipment in a safe, efficient manner in compliance with applicable standards and policies. You will work under guidance of supervisor and coordinate with nursing staff for routine tasks in resident areas.

The role requires minimal education (10th grade) and the ability to lift up to 25 pounds, follow instructions, and maintain confidentiality of resident information.

Qualifications

• Must possess, as a minimum, a 10th grade education.
• Ability to make independent decisions and follow instructions.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to deal tactfully with residents and staff.

Responsibilities

• Follow maintenance schedules for the assigned shift.
• Report accidents/incidents to supervisor.
• Coordinate daily maintenance with nursing services when in resident areas.
• Perform routine maintenance on grounds, facilities, and equipment.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident care information.
