Job summary

New York City Department of Consumer and Worker Protection (DCWP) is seeking an Administrative Space Analyst to support the General Services division managing facilities, mail, fleet, and health and safety administration across DCWP locations.

The role focuses on evaluating space needs, planning upgrades, overseeing inspections, coordinating repairs, and ensuring safe, efficient working environments for staff and visitors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with supervisory experience in space planning or facilities.
• Experience supervising staff and coordinating building-related services.

Responsibilities

• Assess needs and prepare plans for upgrades, repairs, and associated costs.
• Conduct daily on-site inspections of contracted cleaning services.
• Coordinate building upgrades (HVAC, painting, snow removal) and repairs.
• Monitor safety equipment inventories (first aid, extinguishers, alarms).
• Oversee warehouse inventory, deliveries, and distribution of supplies.
• Support fleet coordination and back-up for other units as needed.
