Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a Facilities Specialist in the United States to maintain restaurants through preventative maintenance on all aspects of the facility. You will supervise facility aspects at the market level and perform regular site visits to ensure safe, efficient operations.

Responsibilities include training staff, creating maintenance schedules, and communicating findings to the Operations Team and Regional Facilities Manager.

Qualifications

• Strong trade knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, electrical, commercial cooking equipment, appliance repair and basic HVAC/refrigeration.
• Knowledge of rules and regulations governing facilities safety requirements.
• Demonstrate ability to manage and coordinate multiple schedules while planning work.
• Effectively communicate and train facility maintenance concepts.
• Have a clean MVR and ability to travel between restaurants.
• BA/BS in related field or equivalent with two years of training; experience with restaurant equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Facilities Manager by supervising facility aspects of restaurant management at the market level.
• Perform facility maintenance and repair through monthly site visits and analysis of restaurants.
• Formulate preventative maintenance schedules for safe, efficient operation of restaurant facilities.
• Conduct maintenance seminars for staff and managers.
• Provide maintenance visit recaps to Operations Team and Regional Facilities Manager.
• Repair equipment and building components on schedule and during emergencies.
