Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a Facilities Field Technician to maintain restaurants through preventative maintenance and timely repairs across multiple locations. You will support the Facilities Manager, conduct site visits, and implement maintenance schedules for cooking equipment, HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and refrigeration.

You will train restaurant staff on proper maintenance practices and ensure compliance with safety standards, while communicating findings to the Regional

Qualifications

• Strong trade knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, electrical, commercial cooking equipment and appliance repair.

Responsibilities

• Supervise facility aspects of restaurant management at market level.
• Perform facility maintenance and repairs through monthly site visits and analysis of restaurants.
• Formulate preventative maintenance schedules for safe and efficient operation of restaurant facilities.
• Train managers, crew and staff on facility maintenance practices and procedures.
• Ensure staff follow maintenance procedures and communicate updates to leadership.
• Provide maintenance visit recaps to Operations Team and Regional Facility Manager.
• Identify issues contributing to higher costs and communicate with leadership.
• Assist with contractor coordination and facility records updates.
