Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a Facilities Specialist to maintain restaurants through preventative maintenance and timely repairs across the market. You will supervise facility aspects alongside the Facilities Manager, schedule maintenance, and train staff to ensure safe, efficient operations.

Responsibilities include conducting site visits, analyzing restaurant facilities, and coordinating with contractors.

Qualifications

• Trade knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC/refrigeration.
• Knowledge of facilities safety regulations.
• Ability to manage multiple schedules and coordinate tasks.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel between restaurants.

Responsibilities

• Assisting the Facilities Manager by supervising facility aspects of restaurant management at the market level.
• Performing facility maintenance and repair through monthly site visits.
• Formulating preventative maintenance schedules for cooking equipment, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and refrigeration.
• Carrying out procedures when facilities cease functioning or pose health/safety risks.
• Training managers, crew, and staff on facility maintenance concepts and procedures.
• Ensuring staff follow maintenance practices consistently.
• Providing maintenance visit recaps to the Operations Team and Regional Facilities Manager.
• Identifying issues affecting M&R costs and communicating proposals.
• Guiding restaurants on updating facility records and conducting routine repairs.
• Performing new store turnover walks with Contractors and Operations Team.
