Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering and five (5) or more years of related business experience required.
• Minimum of 5-10 years of manufacturing engineering experience, preferably in automotive manufacturing.
• Experience with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or other CAD software.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Project.
• Experience with capacity analysis, line balancing, plant layout, and workflow optimization.

Responsibilities

• Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis for process, equipment, quality, and production issues.
• Develop, validate, and maintain manufacturing process documentation including SOPs, WIs, OPLs, Process Flow Diagrams.
• Support APQP activities including PFMEAs, Control Plans, process validations and Run-at-Rate.
• Support development and launch of new programs, equipment, and processes.
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure manufacturing processes meet customer and program requirements.
• Lead Kaizen events and continuous improvement initiatives.
