Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Building Engineer to ensure efficient operation and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems across assigned properties. Responsibilities include rounds, preventive and corrective maintenance, painting, and housekeeping to sustain a safe, clean environment.

The role requires 5+ years of related experience, applicable licenses, and a strong foundation in HVAC, boilers, pumps, and energy management.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
Graduate of apprentice program or trade school preferred.
5+ years of related work experience in operating mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in a commercial property setting.

Responsibilities

Perform all plumbing, electrical, or HVAC requirements of the building(s).
Maintain heating equipment, chillers, DX units, pumps, cooling towers, and air distribution systems.
Monitor and adjust mechanical/pneumatic equipment, steam stations, control gauges, and distribution panels.
Verify field conditions and perform repairs or adjustments as needed.
Monitor Energy Management and execute preventive maintenance per standards.
