Job summary

CBRE in Spring House, PA seeks a Building Engineer to monitor, maintain, and repair building systems including plumbing, electrical, heating, cooling and life safety.

You will perform preventive maintenance, follow safety regulations, and contribute to energy management while coordinating with teams. This full-time role requires 4–5 years of related experience, a high school diploma or trade school credential, and the ability to lift 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 4–5 years of job-related experience.
• Universal CFC certification is preferred; relevant licenses as required by state or locality.
• Ability to lift/carry heavy loads (50 lbs+) and meet physical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair mechanical, plumbing, electrical, fire life safety, and control systems.
• Follow codes, regulations, and safety directives for building operations.
• Support preventive maintenance and energy management programs.
• Assist with emergency repairs and safe handling of hazardous materials.
• Operate within policies and coach others as needed.
