Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated is seeking an Operating Engineer to join our on-site team in Frederick, CO, 3rd shift (11:00 PM – 7:30 AM MDT). You will focus on operating, maintaining and repairing facility systems to ensure reliable building performance.

Ideal candidates bring hands-on experience with electrical, HVAC, plumbing and central utility plant operations, plus CMMS and MS Office proficiency. This role requires flexibility for call-in duties and working in a fast-paced, regulated

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 2–4 years experience maintaining and repairing commercial building systems.
• EPA 608 Type II Certification required; Universal preferred.
• Proficient with CMMS and MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to analyze HVAC, electrical, plumbing system operations and troubleshoot.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems to keep facilities up to standards.
• Perform preventative maintenance, inventory control, and coordinate with contractors.
• Calibrate and adjust equipment; record readings and ensure safe operation.
• Maintain safe storage of hazardous materials and keep workspace clean.
• Monitor tool and instrument inventory; oversee outside maintenance work.
