Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated in Thornton, CO is seeking an Operating Engineer to operate, maintain, troubleshoot and repair facility equipment across HVAC, electrical, plumbing and life-safety systems.

You will perform preventive maintenance, monitor readings, manage inventory and coordinate with contractors while following safety policies. A HS diploma, 2–4 years of building systems experience and EPA 608 Type II are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• 2–4 years experience maintaining and repairing commercial building systems.
• EPA 608 Type II Certification.
• Ability to analyze operation of HVAC, electrical, plumbing and life-safety systems.
• Working knowledge of CMMS and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, troubleshoot and repair facility equipment on HVAC, electrical, plumbing and life-safety systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance and inventory control; monitor readings and adjust as needed.
• Coordinate with outside contractors and monitor quality and pricing of work.
• Maintain safe work practices; handle hazardous materials per policy.
• Possible to lift up to 80 lbs and work in various environments.
